During the COVID-19 pandemic, when tourism was at a standstill, we had to be creative to develop a new concept for a tourist hostel located on the outskirts of Jaffa. We transformed the hostel into a high-end co-living space for short-term room rentals, with shared communal spaces. Our team built a booking website, developed a strong Instagram presence, and partnered with influencers to document their experience of affordable shared living. Within a year, the business stabilized, overcoming the challenges of the pandemic, and the hostel became a fully booked co-living and short-term rental space for both tourists and locals. The website boasts a high conversion rate of 35% and generates organic traffic through social media, contributing to success on popular booking platforms like Booking.com and Hostelworld.

The project began during the COVID-19 pandemic when the hospitality industry was severely impacted. With tourism almost non-existent, we redefined the hostel into a co-living space that offered affordable, high-quality short-term rentals with shared spaces.
